Dizzying expressway now open

The Yongshun-Jishou (Yongji) Expressway Shijiazhai Interchange in Xiangxi, Hunan province officially opened to traffic on Friday.

It is a part of the provincial "seven vertical and nine horizontal" expressways network, marking the completion of connecting all counties in Xiangxi by expressways. It is a four lane highway, with the main road being nearly 85 km in length, with 106 bridges and 14 tunnels. It was considered the most difficult expressway construction project in Hunan.
