Wasps: making money, not honey
This is a kind of “carnivore” wasp which only eats insects. They produce no honey, yet they have been the cash cow for villager Qiu Jinchun in Yunnan Province. What makes this wasp valuable is its venom, from which Qiu makes an annual income of over US $121,000.
Wasp venom is usually used to treat diseases related to the nervous system, heart, blood vessels, blood circulation and the endocrine system.
