US border debate in Texas

US lawmakers are struggling to reach a consensus on immigration issues following the outrage over the separation of families at the border of Mexico. 

Earlier this week, President Trump signed an executive order to end his administration's policy of taking children away from their parents when they illegally enter the US. But he has called for Congress to pass legislation to overhaul the US immigration system, including giving support for a wall along the southern border.
