Chinese fans cheer for Belgium football team

The 2018 World Cup knockout stages are set to continue tonight in just a few hours, including a matchup between a powerful Belgium and a surprising Japanese team.

The Belgian team has a surprising number of football fans in China due to Axel Witsel's devotion to Tianjin Quanjian in the Chinese super League.

Witsel, who has also had spells in Benfica and Zenit St. Petersberg, joined Tianjin Quanjian in 2017. Since then, he has gained numerous fans in Tianjin.
