A 14-year old girl left a suicide note and leapt off the school building after her classmate reported that she cheated in an exam.

In her suicide note, she said she felt not happy and lost interest in her life for a long time. She also mentioned that her dream was to become a cook, and she hoped she could achieve her dream in her next life. At last, she said wanted to donate her organs.

This recent strategy triggered hot discussion on Chinese social media. Why did a 14-year old girl feel not happy at the best time of her life? Was it because her parents did not support her dream and expected her to have a life in the way that the parents would be satisfied? Moreover, the public also concerns about Chinese education. If a student feels depressive and does not have any positive attitude all the time, teachers are supposed to not only pay attention to students' academic performance but also their psychologic disorders.

Listen to the show and find out more what we can do to prevent this kind of tragedy?

The audio clip is from Round Table, produced by CRI.
