A plus-size model who was 'fat-shamed' by a fellow passenger on a plane confronted the man and filmed the whole exchange.

Natalie Hage says she was on an American Airlines flight to Los Angeles, and shortly after being seated next to the man, he started 'huffing and sighing'. As the flight went on Natalie noticed he was texting someone about her.

Sharing her experience on Instagram, Natalie wrote: "As soon as I sat down, the gentleman on my left began loudly huffing, sighing, and readjusting himself in his seat. I see him furiously texting and then purposefully turning the phone away from me."

Instead of quietly sitting there and fuming, Natalie decided to confront the man. Saying to him: "I couldn't help but notice before we took off you were sending really horrible text messages about me. Do you normally make fun of fat people?"

The man used the old line-I've been drinking to try and wriggle out of it before apologizing to Natalie.
