Construction is now underway at the site of the new Lamu Port in Kenya. With a 25 billion U.S. dollars total investment the port is a vital part of a transport corridor project linking Kenya with South Sudan and Ethiopia. The first three berths are being built by China Communications Construction Company (CCCC), and are located in Manda Bay, in the north east of Kenya. [Photo: Xinhua]
