Police rescue a woman jumping into river in Zhejiang

Two police officers try to stop a woman from attempting suicide by jumping into the river in the city of Jiangshan, in east China's Zhejiang Province on August 2, 2019. A young woman was found attempting suicide by jumping into river from a viewing platform at Jiangshan River. Local police arrived at the scene quickly, and tried to pull and hold the woman as she tried to jump into the river. But they were not able to grab her as the platform was too narrow. Then one of police officers jumped into the water to rescue the woman. Police and other rescuers finally saved the woman from the river.[Photo: VCG]
