Britain's royal family at Day 1 of Royal Ascot

Racegoers on Day 1 of the Royal Ascot horse races at Ascot, west of London, on Tuesday, June 18, 2019. The five-day meet is one of the highlights on the horse racing calendar. Horse racing has been held at the famous Berkshire course since 1711 and tradition is a hallmark of the meeting.
