Exercise varies in kinds, but this one is unique. Crawling on all fours is just one of the exercises based on the "Five Animal Styles" (Wu Qin Xi) that's the hot new wourkout in Zhengzhou, Henan Province. It's said to be good for the body, especially for the lumbar vertebrae.

The Five Animal Styles exercise is not new. In fact it was developed over 1,800 years ago by the famous doctor Hua Tuo to imitate the actions of bears, tigers, deer, monkeys and birds. It combines physical actions with body movement, breathing, and meditation used for health.
