The Chinese Taoist classic, the Tao Te Ching, is really hard to understand, even to native Chinese speakers. Dai Ling, a Boston native living in China, have finished translating this book of classics. Besides translating the Tao Te Ching, he also wants to promote Chinese culture through his translation of other Chinese classical books.

Dai came to China in 2003 and lived in a small town on a hill at the coastal city of Qingdao, Shandong Province. Now Dai Ling has become a local celebrity whose daily work consists building a bridge that connects Chinese and Americans.

At the same time, teaching English is also an important part in Dai Ling's life. Dai expects to help his Chinese students learn English well so they can introduce Chinese traditional culture to the world themselves.
