3D printing helps disabled kitten to walk

The kitten who had been unable to stand or walk was fitted with a 3D printed brace to help her move around freely for the first time on Monday, March 4, 2019. Carly the kitten has a rare condition called Swimmer's Syndrome, which makes her extremely unstable on her paws. This made it hard for her to find a forever home. A Canadian company who makes gaming equipment for people with a disability saw a post about Carly on social media and created a 3D printed brace to help her to move around. [Photo: VCG]
