Christmas obsessive spends thousands on festive decorations

Heather Shayne has a room dedicated to Christmas decorations. The St. Louis resident is a Christmas obsessive who has splashed out $10,000 on festive decorations all year-round. She now has 1,200 decorations and spends her weekends scouring flea markets and online auction sites for X-mas baubles. The room in her basement is filled with Santa mugs, twinkling lights, Christmas trees, figures of Santa Claus and reindeer. She refers it as "a place of peace and happiness." [Photo: VCG]
