Traffic police smashed car window to save lives

A series of photos showing traffic police in Jiangxi province smashed a car window for saving two people's lives went viral online.

It happened on April 30, on that day the temperature in Jiangxi hit 30 degrees Celsius. Traffic police recieved a report that a 1-year-old boy and an elder lady were locked in a car. After failing to get in touch with the driver, the officers smashed the car's window and successfully saved them.

It turned out that the car's owner, surnamed Wang, drove her mother and son from Nanchang to Ji'an. Wang locked them inside the car on a highway ramp and left after quarreling with her mother.
