A food delivery boy in Wuhan, Hubei Province has become the latest Internet sensation after the bilingual message he sent to his customer went viral on social media.
Zhang Hecai, 22, a senior student at Yangtze University, works a part-time job for a food delivery platform.
Since he has received some orders from foreigners in the past, he decided to start sending food delivery messages to customers in both Chinese and English.
Zhang said that many of his workmates in the same delivery team have also begun communicating this way.
Now the delivery boy has become somewhat of a legend in Wuhan, with one of his customers asking him if he's really the guy she heard about online.
Another customer eagerly commented, "Bro, you are such a genius!"
Others were more sentimental about the situation, suggesting that it shows Wuhan "has become more and more international."
Another added, "This has encouraged me to better improve myself."
