Interview with Fabio Scano from WHO China

A medical doctor and public health specialist, Fabio Scano is currently the Coordinator for Disease Control at World Health Organization in China. 

Fabio’s work has taken him to many corners of the world and that journey still continues right here in China where he is working with the country’s Food and Drug Administration to improve access to the quality of health commodities with a focus on medicine and vaccines. 

Nillah Nyakoa caught up with him to find out more about his experiences living and working in China as an expat, plus his thoughts on China’s fast paced development in relation to public health.
