The 5^th session of the 12^th People's National Congress kicked off at the Great Hall of People in Beijing on March 5th. In the 2017 governmental work report, Chinese Primer Li Keqiang gave an overall review of China’s economic growth and social progress in 2016 and also set goals for 2017.
