A recent research points out that marriage appears to be beneficial for maintaining a good health and increase individual's survival chances if they have major health issues.
UK researchers believe that the married ones have more enjoyable lives than those who are single.
ACALM study lasted for 14 years shows that men and women in their 50s, 60s and 70s with high cholesterol are 16% more likely to beat the disease if they are married. The result also remains the same for people who have diabetes and high blood pressure.
