Qingdao develops maritime industry and tourism

The 21st Century is marked the era of ocean. The Chinese government has declared this to be a time of sea-land integration and has highlighted projects to develop its maritime power.
In 2018, President Xi Jinping denoted that China must accelerate the process of constructing some internationally competitive harbors, improve the country's modern maritime industrial structures and maintain China's sustainable marine ecosystems.
