'My Little Pony: The Movie' screens in China
An animated musical "My Little Pony: The Movie," developed by American toymaker Hasbro has premiered in Beijing.

Chung said, "Little pony is a meaningful movie for kids. Both my eldest daughter who is 20 years old now and also my youngest girl are loyal fans of the television series."
The film is based on the television series "My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic," which has remained popular among children worldwide since its launch 35 years ago.
Directed by Jayson Thiessen, the movie tells the story of the ponies of Equestria preparing for their first Friendship Festival which is interrupted by an invasion of monsters.
The film is due to be released across China this coming Friday, February 2, 2018.
