     Shìyàn pǐn, shíyàn duìxiàng, chángshì

【解释】 When someone is used as a guinea pig to test new ideas or products.

-  I do not want to be a guinea pig when they test the first naglev train.

 我并不想成为他们测试第一列磁悬浮列车的实验对象。

 Wǒ bìng bùxiǎng chéngwéi tāmen cèshì dì yī liè cíxuánfú lièchē de shíyàn duìxiàng.

- They're looking for volunteers to act as guinea pigs for a new AIDs vaccine.

 他们正在找志愿者来测试新的艾滋病疫苗。

 Tāmen zhèngzài zhǎo zhìyuàn zhě lái cèshì xīn de Àizībìng yìmiáo.

2.  Wear many hats

【中文】身兼数职、大忙人

      Shēn jiān shù zhí, dàmáng rén

【解释】 To have more than one set of responsibilities.

【例句】

- The mayor wears many hats since he is also the police chief.

 市长身兼数职还是警察局局长。

 Shìzhǎng shēn jiān shù zhí háishì jǐngchájú júzhǎng.

- Mary wanted her dad to not wear so many hats so he could spend more time with her.

 玛丽希望她爸爸不是个大忙人,这样他就有时间多陪陪她了。

 Mǎlì xīwàng tā bàba bùshì gè dàmáng rén, zhèyàng tā jiù yǒu shíjiān duō péi péi tāle.
