【中文】别憋着呼吸，别期望太高

     Bié biēzhe hūxī, bié qīwàng tài gāo

【解释】Something that you say in order to tell someone that an event is not likely to happen or not to get excited over it.

【例句】

- The price of gas is supposed to go down, but don't hold your breath.

 油价应该下跌的，但你的期望值别太高。

 Yóujià yīnggāi xiàdié de, dàn nǐ de qīwàngzhí bié tài gāo.

- Eva said she was going to call, but don't hold your breath.

 伊娃说她会打电话的，但你被太期待了。

 Yīwá shuō tā huì dǎ diànhuà de, dàn nǐ bèi tài qídàile.
