     (Cóngróng) jiēshòu

【解释】 To accept setbacks as the normal course of events.

 尽管他被拒绝了，他从容接受这一事实并开始追别的女孩。

 Jǐnguǎn tā bèi jùjuéle, tā cóngróng jiēshòu zhè yī shìshí bìng kāishǐ zhuī bié de nǚhái.

- Despite getting laid off, he took it in stride and got a job interview the next day.

 尽管被裁员了，他坦然接受事实，第二天就去参加了一个面试。

 Jǐnguǎn bèi cáiyuánle, tā tǎnrán jiēshòu shìshí, dì èr tiān jiù qù cānjiāle yīgè miànshì.
