   Dījí de, méi pǐnwèi de, bù kāixīn de, bù dìdào de, súqì de

【解释】Cheap, unpleasant, or blatantly inauthentic.

【例句】

- I know many people think it's cheesy to ask your potential father in law for his daughter's hand in marriage, but I think it's the right thing to do.

 我知道去请求未来的丈人把女儿嫁给你有些俗气，但我觉得就该这么做。

 Wǒ zhīdào qù qǐngqiú wèilái de zhàngrén bǎ nǚ'ér jià gěi nǐ yǒuxiē súqì, dàn wǒ juédé jiù gāi zhème zuò.

- That movie is so cheesy. I do not understand how you can enjoy it. 

 那不电影太没品位了。我真不明白你怎么喜欢它。

 Nàbù diànyǐng tài méi pǐnwèi le. Wǒ zhēn bù míngbái nǐ zěnme xǐhuān tā.
