Covering an area of 4.2 square kilometers, the cemetery is a major historical and cultural site protected at the national level.  It includes a memorial facility for the martyrs and a national patriotism education base. In addition, it is one of 100 classic tourism attractions related to the Red Army. The site has been visited by 3 million Chinese and overseas tourists. [Photo: scol.com.cn]
