China ‘Dream Coast’ makes CNN top 40 most beautiful places list

Maybe it’s time you booked your holiday to China’s idyllic ‘Dream Coast,’ before the crowds arrive. The U.S. TV network CNN has named Xiapu, on the southeast coast of China, as one of the top 40 most beautiful places to visit in the country. A haven for photographers, the 400 kilometers of coastline boasts the largest mudflats in the country, and tiger-striped beaches, with man-made bamboo structures, bouys and fishing vessels completing the visual delights. Xiapu is number 4 on the CNN list and is only beaten by the Hongcun Ancient Village and Mount Huangshan in Anhui province, and Mount Wuyi in Fujian. [Photo: Chinanews.com]
