Nanjing holds international assembly to mark Japan's WWII surrender

People from more than ten countries attend a peaceful assembly to mark the 72nd anniversary of Japan%26#039;s surrender, which brought an end to World War II, at the Memorial Hall of the Victims in Nanjing Massacre by Japanese Invaders, in Nanjing, east China%26#039;s Jiangsu Province, on August 15, 2017. The anniversary falls on the same day. A delegation from Japan, international students from countries including Pakistan, Bangladesh, Jordan, India, and Ghana held the assembly to mark the occasion, mourn victims in the Nanjing Massacre by Japanese invaders and advocate world peace.
