China's first monks chorus performs at music festival

This year has seen 112 different groups participate. Among them was China's first chorus made up completely of monks. The monks chorus, "Dawn," hails from the Tiantai Temple Conservatory of Buddhist Music, Hongan county, Hubei Province."Dawn" is said to perform music that could purify one's soul.[Photo: dfic.cn]
