Breeding turtles as pet is not new, but walking a turtle may be. Hao Yulan, 83 year old, from Changchun brings her 50 kg turtle outside for walks to enjoy the sunshine with her every day. The turtle, nicknamed Susu, has grown to over 50 kg from less than 500 g over 10 years since Hao bought him during a trip to Yunnan Province.
