Yaks enjoy grassland of Tibet
Yaks graze under a blue sky in Damxung County, Tibet Autonomous Region. Tibetan people have been raising yaks for thousands of years, mainly for their milk, meat, and wool fiber. The animal has no problem living on the high altitude Qinghai-Tibet Plateau and can help transport goods across mountains. Even yak dung is an important fuel for Tibetan people.
