A head for heights and the courage of a daredevil are essential skills for BASE jumpers. Due to the lower altitudes of the jumps, it's significantly more dangerous than skydiving from a plane. Shi Chunyan made her leap from a 210-meter-high fire balloon in Shiniuzhai, in central China's Hunan Province, on Wednesday, September 27, 2017. Her parachute opened successfully, and she landed safely after just 50 seconds. [Photo: Chinanews.com]
