Rare, migratory birds gather at Poyang Lake in Jiujiang City, Jiangxi Province on October 9, 2017. Poyang Lake is the largest freshwater lake in China, a significant international wetland and the largest hibernating habitat for migratory birds in Asia. Ninety-five percent of the world's white cranes, 50 percent of the world's white-nape cranes, and 60 percent of swan geese survive winters here in Poyang Lake each year.[Photo: VCG]
