A glimpse of world's largest gold ring in Shandong

The world's largest solid gold ring makes its debut in the city of Weifang, Shandong Province on Oct. 13, 2017. With the weight of 82.2 kilograms, the ring with 76 sapphire inlays took 99 days to complete. The key elements of the design contain traditional Chinese cultural symbols including the red lantern and Chinese knot, conveying joyous and auspicious meanings.
