College students build wooden miniature of Forbidden City

A wooden miniature of the Forbidden City, built on a scale of 1:1000, is shown at Dalian Minzu University in the city of Dalian, northeast China's Liaoning Province on November 14, 2017. The model is built by six students at the school on a wooden plate of 1.8 square meters, while the actual Forbidden City, or officially the Palace Museum, covers an area of 720,000 square meters.
