The opening ceremony of the Third Maritime Silk Road (Fuzhou) International Tourism Festival took place in southeast China’s coastal city of Fuzhou on November 19th, 2017. Fuzhou is an important gateway to the 21st Century Maritime Silk Road. The festival provides a platform for countries and regions along the Maritime Silk Road to seek common opportunities in economic and tourism cooperation, as well as cultural exchanges. This year's festival has attracted more than 300 industry insiders from about 30 countries and regions. Various activities will be held during the festival, including a travel merchant procurement conference and international tourism carnival. The festival will run for more than 40 days ending on December 31. [Photo: China Plus/Xu Yang]
