Gorgeous rime scenery seen at Tianmen Mountain

Rime-covered trees are seen on Tianmen Mountain in Zhangjiajie, Hunan Province, November 20, 2017. Known as rime, it's made its first appearance on the mountain this winter. Rime is often seen on trees atop mountains and ridges when low-hanging clouds cause freezing fog. The best time for seeing rime on Tianmen Mountain is from late November to March. [Photo: VCG]
