Stranded whale calf rescued in Sanya

A 3-meter-long juvenile whale has been rescued after beaching itself at the Dadonghai scenic zone in Sanya, Hainan Province on Saturday. Locals were able to successfully move the injured calf to safety. It's now under the care of veterinarians, and will be released back into the sea after a full recovery. [Photo: IC]
