World's largest hornet found in Yunnan

A photo shows a newly-discovered hornet, the largest ever, found by Chengdu Huaxi Entomic Museum in Yunnan near the border with Myanmar on March 5, 2019. The hornet is 6-cm-long, with a wingspan of 9.35 cm. That's far bigger than the previous record of 7.6 cm. [Photo: IC]
