More than 3000 women take part in 10km Sakura-Run

More than 3000 women runners participated in the 10km Sakura-Run in Shanghai. The morning drizzle did not dampen the spirits of the runners who were dressed in pink T-shirts and eager to hit the race track. The race featured celebrities and sports stars such as former World Ping Pong Champion Cao Yanhua, the famous hostess Chen Yanhua and players from the Shanghai Baoshan Dahua Women's Basketball team. The 10km Sakura-Run is named as such because runners can enjoy the beautiful scenery of sakura blossoming next to the track. The race has been held for three consecutive years.
