Leshan Giant Buddha under "facial SPA"

​The Leshan Giant Buddha, the tallest stone Buddha statue in the world, is now under a comprehensive check and "facial SPA" to renovate its damaged chest and abdomen and remove algae on its face. The plank road around the feet of the Buddha will reopen to the public on April 1 and the second stage of renovation is set to be completed in mid-April. [Photo: VCG]
