Balancing eggs for good luck during spring equinox

Spring equinox has long been celebrated as a time of rebirth and hope in China, and Chinese people have a unique way to welcome this special day: balancing eggs. By standing eggs on-end on spring equinox, which falls on March 21 this year, you are supposed to have been promised good luck and happiness for the rest of the year.
