China's largest salt producer starts spring harvest

Photo taken on March 25, 2019 shows the Changlu Hangu Salt Farm in north China's Tianjin. The spring harvest will end at the end of May with an estimated production of 220,000 tons of salt. With a history of more than one thousand years, Changlu Hangu Salt Farm now is the largest salt production base in China. It produces around 3 million tons of salt every year. [Photo: IC]
