Rare Asian rhinos make their first public appearance in China

Two endangered Asian rhinos made their first public appearance last weekend at the Shanghai Wild Animal Park. It was the first time Asian rhinos have gone on show in China. The pair is a gift from Nepal. According to the park, the rhinos each weigh over 1,000 kilograms and require 120 kilograms of food each day. [Photo: VCG]
