PLA garrison in Hong Kong marks 92nd anniversary of PLA founding

An open day at the People's Liberation Army (PLA) barracks at Ngong Shuen Chau in Hong Kong on Tuesday, June 30, 2019. The PLA garrison in Hong Kong hosted a reception on Wednesday to mark the 92nd anniversary of the army's founding. Over the past 22 years, the Hong Kong garrison has been dedicated to improving its ties with the people in Hong Kong. It has welcomed more than 780,000 Hong Kong residents to open days at its barracks. It has also organized 15 summer camps that have hosted more than 4,300 young people in Hong Kong. [Photo: IC]
