Illegal guns and explosives are destroyed by the police in Xuancheng, east China's Anhui Province, on August 12, 2019. Chinese police on Monday destroyed a total of 107,000 illegal guns and large amounts of explosives in 154 cities. The destroyed guns and explosives were confiscated by police or turned over to the police by their holders voluntarily since last year. The Monday activity was the second of its kind launched by the Ministry of Public Security after police destroyed illegal guns and explosives in 146 cities last September.
