Monkeys spotted in residential area in Xi'an

A monkey seen in a car in Hexiang Road in Xi'an on Tuesday, August 27, 2019. Also on Tuesday, in the Hexiang Road neighborhood about 14 kilometers from Shibo Avenue, another monkey was found in a car by a driver. That monkey was captured by staff members from a local animal rescue station. Mr. Yang, who works at the rescue station, said the monkey is a macaque, which is a nationally protected species.
