This photo taken on Wednesday, October 23, 2019, shows the typical Huizhou-style architecture in Xixinan Town in east China's Anhui Province. The town is famous across China for its well-preserved architecture built during the Ming and Qing dynasties (A.D. 1368 – 1912). Since 2017, the town has made full use of its natural resources and old indigenous villages in its efforts to develop rural tourism. Some award-winning architects have also been attracted to the area to help villagers build high-quality holiday inns that cater to the tastes of China's emerging middle class.
