Display of diplomatic gifts to South Korea opens at the Blue House

A Go set presented to South Korean President Moon Jae-in by Chinese President Xi Jinping in December 2017. The checkerboard pattern in the board is made from blue and white sapphires. The South Korean president is hosting a special exhibition at the Blue House of about 70 diplomatic gifts he has received from heads of state and major figures since the inauguration of his government in 2017.
