This toddler plays, bathes, and sleeps with her pet crocodile

Three year old Dilan Maharani from Indonesia has an unusual friend: a 135 centimeter long crocodile. She plays, bathes, and sleeps with her 29 kilogram pet crocodile named Ndut, which is an eight month old estuarine croc bought by the girl's parents when it was just 15 centimeters long. The toothy reptile now weighs more than Dilan.

The croc isn't the only unusual parent bought by Dilan's parents. The other members of their menagerie are three kinds of python, a parrot, and a monkey, which are all playmates of the little girl.

Her parents hope their daughter will retain her fearless attitude and love for animals into the future, and that she will grow up to become a zookeeper.
