Khaya's parents sent him to a Chinese school min Chicago, where he has been studying for more than two years. He said, "I am just very busy. I really like it. So it feels like it's very short." Earlier this year, he walked away with the top prize in the children's category in a singing contest of Chinese songs in the U.S. Midwest. Khaya's mom is proud of him.
